Hey! If you’re a fan of spicy food like me, you’ve got to try this amazing recipe for spicy chicken salad. Inspired by the traditional Chinese dish “drool chicken,” this salad packs a punch of flavor that will leave you wanting more. And the best part? It’s easy to make and can be found on our website.
I’m also making use of a rotisserie chicken, which I’ve recently come to appreciate as the best friend of the modern working woman. The last thing I want to do after a long day at the office, a longer commute home, and an even longer evening is to spend an hour in the kitchen making dinner. Nothing is missing from this chicken salad with a kick.
Fast? Check. The total time required is around 20 minutes. Ba-bam.
Healthy? Check. We have lettuce. There is a subtle absence of carbohydrates.
Has enough substance to make you glad you opted for salad over meat? Check. There’s a ton of protein, and the sauce or dressing will make you feel like the luckiest person on the planet.
The addition of herbs, specifically cilantro and mint, elevates this salad to another level. They improve the dish tremendously by adding an exciting new dimension of flavor. You can make this salad your own by adjusting the seasoning and adding your favorite ingredients. Your options are endless.
