Everyone, including myself, enjoys an Indian buffet. The orange-hued, creamy, rich, and delectable chicken tikka masala is one of my favorite dishes in Indian restaurants.

With naan, basmati rice, or chicken biryani, it’s perfect. This recipe instruction will teach you how to make Indian Chicken Tikka Masala.

HOW TO MAKE TIKKA MASALA WITH CHICKEN

To create chicken tikka masala, start making Tandoori chicken, which can be cooked over an open flame or baked in the oven. Baking is the simplest option for home cooks.

Second, make the delectable tikka masala sauce and simmer the chicken until it has reached a thick, creamy consistency.

SAUCE TIKKA MASALA

The following are the main ingredients in Tikka Masala Sauce:

  • The paste made from tomatoes
  • Garam Masala, or Indian Spice Mix, is a mixture of spices from India. It’s available at Indian/Asian stores and online.
  • Ketchup
  • Cream Whipping

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 pound tandoori chicken (0.4 kilograms)
  • a quarter-pound of butter
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, finely minced
  • 2 teaspoons garlic, finely minced
  • 1/2 cup canned tomato paste (120 mL)
  • chili powder (about 2 teaspoons)
  • garam masala (garam masala) (1/2 teaspoon)
  • ketchup, 2 tablespoons
  • a half teaspoon of sugar
  • season with salt to taste
  • water, 1/2 cup (120 ml)
  • 4 tbsp heavy whipping cream/4 tbsp yogurt
  • only 2 sprigs of cilantro leaves, coarsely cut

HOW TO COOK CHICKEN TIKKA MASALA

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Cut the Tandoori Chicken into bite-sized pieces (recipe here). Remove from the equation.
  2. Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Add the ginger and garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant. Stir the tomato paste and chili powder for about 30 seconds to thoroughly combine.
  3. Stir in the Tandoori Chicken and Garam Masala and cook for 10 minutes. Replace the lid on the pan.
  4. Cook for 3 minutes after adding the ketchup, sugar, salt, and water. Turn off the heat and mix in the heavy whipping cream or yogurt, making sure all of the ingredients in the pan are appropriately combined. Before serving, transfer the Chicken Tikka Masala to a serving plate and top with chopped cilantro leaves.
