- 12 oz. dried wheat noodles (340g, or substitute with spaghetti)
- 1-2 tablespoons vegetable or canola oil
- 1 pound ground meat of your choice (beef, pork, chicken, or turkey)
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, sliced
- 3 cups baby spinach
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon dark soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 2 teaspoons chili oil (optional)
Instructions
- Set water to boil for the noodles. Simultaneously, warm your wok over high heat and add oil. Add the ground meat and stir-fry until brown and slightly crispy.
- Stir in the onion and garlic, continuing to cook on high heat until the onions are somewhat softened and browned. Add in the spinach until it wilts. Season this mix with salt and pepper.
- While this is cooking, prepare the noodles as per package instructions. Once cooked, transfer them to a bowl and mix with soy sauce, dark soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, and chili oil (if you’re using). Blend it well with the onion, meat, and spinach mix, and you’re ready to serve!
