HOW TO BAKE CHOCOLATE CHIP CUPCAKES WITH GANACHE

INGREDIENTS

CUPCAKES:

  • 1 cup (130 g) plain flour
  • A quarter cup (25 g) of unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp. of baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. bicarbonate of soda
  • Salt with a half teaspoon
  • eggs, two big, at room temperature
  • Granulated sugar, about a cup and a half
  • Canola oil, half a cup.
  • One teaspoon of pure vanilla essence
  • 175 milliliters (3/4) of milk
  • 1 cup chocolate chips, semi-sweet

Ganache:

  • 1 cup (240 ml) thick whipping cream
  • The butter should be unsalted.
  • 8 ounces (226 g) chips of semi-sweet chocolate
  • One teaspoon of pure vanilla essence

INSTRUCTIONS:

CUPCAKES:

  1. The oven is preheated at 350 degrees Fahrenheit (180 degrees Celsius). Cupcake paper cups are used to line a 12-cup pan. Remove from consideration.
  2. Mix all the ingredients (the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt) in a larger basin.
  3. Beat the eggs, oil, and sugar, in a bowl with a whisk attachment on a stand mixer (it is also possible by hand for about 3 minutes or until light in color). Incorporate the vanilla extract.
  4. Pour in the flour mixture in two batches, mixing at low speed for roughly two minutes after each addition. Add the chocolate chips and mix well.
  5. Fill each paper cup to about 90% capacity with the batter. 20–25 minutes of baking time, or until a cake tester inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Let the cupcakes cool on a wire rack after removing them from the pan. Prepare the Ganache by following the directions on the package.
  7. It is possible to use a spatula or piping bag to spread the chocolate over the cupcakes. Sprinkles can be added to the Ganache if desired.

GANACHE

  1. The heavy whipping cream and butter should be heated slowly in a medium saucepan until little bubbles appear on the side.
  2. The chocolate chips are added after the pot has been taken from the heat. Whisk until the mixture is entirely smooth after 30 seconds. Add the vanilla essence and mix well. Allow for thorough cooling.
