4 Easy Steps: Chocolate Snowballs

The chocolate snowballs are made of sugar-covered chocolate chips and cookies with pecans in them. This is the best cookie for the season because it is buttery, crunchy, and sweet at the same time.

In my kitchen, Christmas baking has just begun, and I’ll be sharing some of my favorite holiday cookies with you! To start the holiday baking season, here are the best and tastiest chocolate snowballs you’ve ever had.

The recipe is very simple, and there is no way to mess it up. They look so cute. I love these chocolate snowballs. I can’t stop eating them and can’t get enough of them. These cookies look like they belong during the holidays or in the winter in powdered sugar. They are almost like tiny, sweet, chocolate chip and pecan-filled cookies that you can eat. They are almost cute.

How cool is that?

The recipe comes from Taste of Home. I get a piece of chocolate and a bit of pecan with every bite. I also like that it’s crunchy and crispy.

We cut back on the sugar in the dough because the cookies are rolled in powdered sugar. Walnut can be used instead of pecan. Both ways, they are just a lot of fun. This recipe has only 89 calories in each bite.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 6 tablespoons of butter, softened and ready to use
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • Salt with 1/4 teaspoon
  • This is one big egg.
  • 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
  • All-purpose flour: 1 cup of this flour
  • Chopped pecans: 1/2 cup
  • Chocolate chips: 1/2 cup
  • The powdered sugar is used to roll the dough into balls

HOW TO BAKE CHOCOLATE SNOWBALLS

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Set the oven to 350°F (176°C). Butter, salt, and sugar are combined in a large basin until they form a light and fluffy mixture. The egg and vanilla extract are added at this point, and everything should be well combined. Beat in flour slowly.
  2. Add the chocolate chips and pecans to the mix.
  3. Shape the dough into 1-inch balls and place them 2 inches apart on baking sheets that haven’t been greased—bake for about 30 minutes. When the tops and bottoms begin to brown, remove it from the oven. On the pans: 1 minute.
  4. Roll them in confectioners ‘ sugar when the cookies are still warm, and then put them on a baking sheet. Wire racks are used to keep the food cool. If you want to, roll the cookies again in confectioners’ sugar. About 4 dozen will come out.
